"Say no to drugs!"
I did lie a little about how nothing more ever needed to be said on the Hines/Kym subject. Because there's always more.

I seriously could not love Tony The Reporter more. He looks so dapper in a suit and everybody knows and loves him so they're always extra adorable when he's the one asking the questions. The Extra videos take eleven years to fully load, so skip to the youtube ones below if you're short on patience, but Hines is totally snuggling Kym and she puts her head on his chest while he teases her about being "high as a kite."

I also love how much Tony seems to like and respect Hines as Kym's future husband.

Another post-performance interview. Seriously, thank God Kym is high through this press line, because otherwise I don't know how she could stand there and listen to Hines retell the story so many times. He says he can't get the image of how she looked at him after she fell out of his head, but then Kym says "Hines has been everything to me since this happened..." and I'm sure that softens the blow.

This post-results interview is short and sweet! Kym sounds like Kym again and they're grinning away and she still thinks he can do no wrong and he can't take his eyes off her and she's adorably excited about the freestyle and he's totally enabling her squeee and it's just business as usual for Team OTP:

Cutest. Ever.

Edit: Oooh, and Hines' latest weekly interblogview thing is up! He doesn't quite manage to out-gush Kym's hearts-n-flowers-n-painkillers post from this week, but she is definitely the New Queen:

Aww, I was just happy we made it through the dance. I mean after seeing Kym get injured like she did, nothing mattered to me except her health. I thought she had broken her neck at first and it really hit me. My first thought was that this competition wasn't worth her future or her life. So when we were able to complete the dance and seeing her go through it after what she went through was overwhelming for me. She has done so much for me and I was just so glad she was OK. I guess I lost it for a moment. She is the best and I am just glad she is OK.

I am actually capable of reading that entire paragraph without hearts-n-flowers-n-diamonds. I am. Because basically if he said anything other than this it would mean he's kind of a horrible jerk, and believe me, we've seen plenty of toolbags on DWTS who wouldn't make the cut. That being said, hearts-n-flowers-n-diamonds.

I am sure my teammates, veterans and rookies alike, appreciate Kym's work ethic like I do.

Dear Steeler Nation: RESPECT. Love, Hines.

My goal coming into it was to just not be the first one kicked off. And honestly, to be doing the types of dances I've been doing and to still be here in the finals speaks volumes of my coach. Kym is amazing and I owe it all to her.

I just love how much of a class act he is, because Kym is one of the classiest pros (in attitude, if not in costume selection) and she deserves only the best. :)

As an aside, today I saw someone on the wild internets say, Can't we just dispense with the rest of the competition and give the MBT to Hines' mama? PRETTY MUCH. She cracked me up so hard in her clips on Monday night.

My God, I don't even watch this show, but at this point I am totally on the Kym/Hines ship. Hearts-n-flowers-n-diamonds forever!

HEE!! Their love is so obvious you don't even have to know who they are! *lols forever*

She deserves all the hearts and flowers and diamonds in the world, I swear. And she'll probably get them, too! :)

YOUR PERSUASIVE POWERS ARE GREAT AND TERRIBLE. And seriously, these two are an adorable couple.

But dilemma! He's a Steelers player! And the Steelers are the arch-enemies of my Ravens! So I ought to hate him out of sheer hometown loyalty! What to do, what to do...ship them as Hines-as-a-DWTS-contestant/Kym and ignore anything that is Hines-as-a-Steelers-player/Kym?

I KNOW. It's a horrible dilemma! I would have trouble forgiving a Yankee player for being a Yankee player even if he made one of my favorite dance pros smile like that. ;)

Does it make you feel better to know he actually lives in Georgia, so after he retires from football they can raise their smiley babies far from Pittsburgh?

I mean, it helps a little, but HE HAS BEEN TAINTED BY PLAYING UNDER THE SLIMEBALL THAT IS BEN ROETHLISBERGER. Some stains never come out! But let us pretend that the power of Kym's love, dancing and Southern cooking will heal him, and hope that someday soon he will come to his senses and leave for *cough*Baltimore*cough* another team.

God, I hate Steelers and the Nation. Bunch of obnoxious assholes.

Awwww. I feel your rage! I mean, not in this case, but when I had to work with Yankees fans and they were the only people in Portland who cared about baseball so we had to talk about it with each other but then they were total dicks about it and I was just like ARGH. ARGH. STFU. FUCKING PINSTRIPES. Etc.

I should feel your rage about this as a Patriots fan, but i don't really care that much about football don't tell Jvass I remote-adminned for the Pittsburgh office last year and so heard an awful lot about the Steelers. I'm a sucker for fanatical sports fandom unless it happens to be related to New York.

It's good of you to be able to look past your righteous rage enough to wish him luck with America's Australian Sweetheart! I suppose the power of her love might get him to relocate to California so he can properly take care of her while she works on future DWTS seasons? ;)

I had a dream last night about this, I guess, because I woke up early this morning certain you had confirmed they were getting married. Specifically, I remember you saying (in italics), "The wedding is set for this summer."

Then I woke up early this morning and suddenly wasn't sure if maybe they were getting married to other people or something.

And then I woke up just a few minutes ago and wasn't sure I'd actually read it at all, and checked, and am sad to see that you didn't. But, er, my dream-brain thinks it'll happen.

Ahahahahaha, that's glorious. :) I'll be sure to put that quote in my next flailing squeee post, just for your dream brain!

I love that my excessive posting on this matter has led your brain to concoct fanfic for you. Her wedding dress better have fringe. ;)
