Color-coded careers!
Put your career questions to rest with this thoroughly entertaining and disturbingly accurate quiz where you pick your career path by choosing colors you like:

Color Career Counselor
(via How About Orange)

My results are surprisingly accurate, given that they didn't ask any questions beyond asking me to rank colors by what I like best. HOW DO THEY KNOW?? My coworkers were all "YES. THAT. Please don't quit though just because you're creatively stifled."

This very social type enjoys working in groups, sharing responsibilities, and being the center of attention. I got a similar result to you, particularly within the 'Creator' occupations which was my first suggestion too. It's scary in that I work in the marketing department for an architectural firm. HOW DOES IT WORK?!

I got 'Researcher' and it's definitely more accurate in terms of 'things I would be interested in doing' that most of the painfully long and boring careers advice tests I've taken. But yes, HOW DOES IT WORK? IS IT MAGIC?

It doesn't work with me, telling me that I'm organized and structured and I'm like... "I just got diagnosed with ADD which is pretty much the exact opposite of what you're telling me!"

I tested exactly the same as youuuuuu! And indeed, up until the redundancy, I was a grpahic artist. I am also trying to be a normal artist, as well (I draw), so this is indeed a "Wow!" test.

Gotta say the social manager thing, not so much, but that said, there are things that ping a bit there as well. But yes, how do they do iiiiiit??

I got the exact same results as you. I cry 'liars!' I like my creativity to be in my down time -- I prefer more structure in my work.

Mine is creator/persuader. And Persuader is WRONG. I think it's for liking red, maybe black, and I get the part where I can talk well, but... agressive? ambitious? wanting positions of power and status? NOOOOO.
miera_cmiera_c on March 3rd, 2010 04:52 am (UTC)
That's a little freaky. I got Creator followed by Organizer, which is pretty much me in a nutshell.
