Kiss Kiss Big Bang: Your Opinion Required  
Apparently in a fit of mania I signed up for het_bigbang a while back! I neglected to decide what I'm writing, and apparently I will have to do that at some point. So I made up some options and am now doing a Public Opinion Poll!

Atlantis: Sheppard/Weir. Post-"Return", John and Elizabeth get fired, go AWOL, and have as yet undetermined adventures in Pegasus.

It killed me not to vote for Sparky, but that DS9 story sounds really promising. (I also checked some ticky boxes, because ticky boxes.)

Even if I write DS9 for this I have other Sparky things in the post-DWTS-glitter-haze pipeline! :) The Sparky fic I mentioned above is kind of scaring me because I haven't figured out the adventures that will go in the "have adventures" section. That seems important. PLOT IS SCARY.

Plot is somehow much less scary when it comes to Star Trek. Possibly because I paid attention to the story watching that show and not just the eyesexing that predominated my Atlantis fan experience. ;)

I really thought about your finale fix-it suggestion while creating this poll. I was like "there could be time travel! and shenanigans!" but it would require acknowledging the finale exists and possibly watching it again and I JUST DON'T KNOW IF I CAN go back on my principles like that. OH MY OTP FOR ALWAYS, THEY WERE ALWAYS SO HOT AND ATTRACTIVE AND YAYYY. That kiss was so incredibly noncon because they are both bodysnatched. OH MY. It's kind of surprising how neither of them seem particularly traumatized by this maybe because they have made out a lot already when drunk at Athosian parties.

I WAS SEMI-SERIOUSLY CONSIDERING DOING, LIKE, BREAKFAST ACTUALLY, WITH 25 HET COUPLES EACH GETTING 1000 WORDS AND BREAKFAST. But I figured that's not at all the spirit of the challenge and it started to occur to me that it would be really difficult to make 25 breakfast scenes interesting to a reader because how many different ways can people have breakfast.

RIKERS IN SPAAAAAAACE.

Really, if I'm going to write a breakfast opus, it should be Picard/Crusher. Because THAT'S ACTUALLY CANON. Haha.

I must run in very different fandom circles than you do. I really don't think of Sparky babyfic being particularly common. *makes puzzled face*
