I'm off for the weekend to visit the lovely lisayaeger and see The Wilds Of Maine for the first time EVER and be a squeeeful geekface for Enterprise (eeee! end of the pastede on cliffhanger YAY!). And, of course, Stargate and Atlantis in various geeky guises.

This is really, really exciting, for lots of conquering-mono reasons, so I'm psyched up about the potential driving and visiting gleee.

No clue if there will be breaks in the squeee to post/email/chat/whatever, so I may be going *whoosh* for nothing...

Have fun, and do get to feeling better as soon as you can. How long have you been recovering from mono? I had it when I was 14 and it took a full month and a half after the two weeks I was sick before I started feeling normal again.

... almost two and a half years...

At a certain point it's no longer called "mono" and became "undiagnosed strange thing probably related to mono". Now I think it's called "Chronic Fatigue" but that diagnosis tends to cause more harm than good :) Plus, I haven't REALLY admitted that it's chronic and possibly lifelong yet... so I continue to call it the Evil Mono of Doom...

Yes. It is teh suck. But I SURVIVED A WEEKEND!!! I'm so excited. I felt like *me* and it gives me great hope.

I just have to be careful this time to *actually* get better (somehow) instead of just *thinking* I'm all better, as has happened before. But I will kick its butt but good. *is pumped*

Road trips can cure so many ills :)
